The Dayton Society of Artists is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.  The DSA is the oldest arts organization in Dayton, founded in 1938 by artists affiliated with the Dayton Art Institute.  The DSA is located in the St. Anne’s Hill historic district at 48 High Street, Dayton, OH.  The building was purchased in 1963 by  DSA members Martha Bittner and David L. Smith.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support area artists by offering the opportunity to exhibit their work, along with gallery events and art workshops. The gallery space serves to support artists showing and selling their artwork.  The DSA takes no commission from artist sales.  All profits of art sales go directly to the artist.  The DSA is a creative space for artists, patrons, and curators.  We invite the public to participate in engaging and thought provoking exhibitions.  All shows are free and open to the public.  For further information on DSA activities or rental opportunities please call 937-228-4532 or email:

Thank you to our Sponsors
